TRADE IN THE EAST.
AN AUSTRALIAN REPORT.
M elboorne, this day; The Victorian Trade Commissioners, who are travelling in the East, report that a large trade may be opened up with British Burmah in meats, hams, bacon, butter and cheese. They are also of opinion thab Singapore offers a good markeb for meat and butter.
