MRS McCALLUM DISCHARGED,

The charge against) Mrs McCallum of undertaking to tell fortunes by means of palmistry, contrary to section 240 of the Criminal Code Act, waa again heard yesterday morning at tho Supreme Court, before His Honor Justice Conolly and a jury of twelve. After the jury had been addressed ab considerable length by the Crown Prosecutor, Mr Tole, and the counsel for the defence, Mr Baurae, the Judge summed up at twenty live, minutes to twelve. Ab tweuty-hve minutes past twelve the jury retired, and after absenting themselves for four houra and thirty minutes they roturned to the Courb with, a verdict of not guilty. The criminal sittings will be resumed ab ten o'clock en Monday morning, when Mrs McCallum will appear to receive her formal discharge.
