SOUTHERN TELEGRAMS.
Wellington, this day. Mb John Hobbax, ,of Wellington, haß been elected to the vacancy on the New Zealand Pharmacy Board. Four brothers, John, Hugh, Allan and Charles Cameron, were charged ab the Magistrate's Court this morning with keeping an illicit still in Gollaa Valley, and were remanded till the 29th insfc. Oamaru, thin day. Ab last night's meeting a hearty vote of thanks to the Hon. Mr Ward and confidence in the Government was passed by acclamation. The Treasurer leaves for Invercargill to-day, returning North on Wednesday next.
