A Bolivian force has invaded Brazilian territory, and established military posbß on the Purua River. The rebels expecb to capture Santos shortly. The National Police are deserting the President. Rio Janiero, February 25, The Loyalist troops, oonvoyed in boats and launches, attacked the rebels ab Villcgaignon, on bho shoroa of the harbour, I The boats wero sunk by fire from the fo.b, [ and four hundred soldiers perished.
