The cricket match, Taupiri v. Tuhifefrtamea, on Saturday, resulted in a great Burpriee. Taupiri, who started with four men and four substitutes in the field, took all the Tuhikaramea wickets for 24 rune, Cox bowling 7 wickets for 12, and Hously 2 for 11. Taupirimade2l,andthen,reinforced by three men, who arrived late, gob Tuhikaramea out for 22, and made themselves 28, and thus won the second innings. Cox bowled 4 for 7, Housley 3 for 11, Walsh 2 for 3, Trend took 4 for 12 and 2 for 11, Drabble 3 for 7, McMiken 1 for 7.
