THIS MORNING'S TRAINING NOTES.
A most inberesting morning's work was gob through at Ellerslie this morning, the course proper being thrown open. Skirmisher and Dilemma opened the ball by running threeqaarters of a mile in lmin 22sec. Ivy beab Lord Dunluce over the same distance in lmin 23sec. Brown Alice was Bent a strong once round by herself. The Cup mare moved well. Stanmoor and Lady Moth ran half-a-mile ab their best pace. Brigand, with Resurrection and Lufra for companions, finished badly at the end of a strong once round. Tingara and Lady Marion spurted over five furlongs in lmin lOsec. Despised gob bhrough bwo sbrong rounds. This horse is looking vory well, and should wiu bhe Sbeeplechase. Loyalby beab Rosofeldb in a gallop once round, bhe journey baking 2min 9sec. Lobbie beab Sunbeam in a spurt of bhreo-quarbers of a milo. Coalscubtle and Pegasus galloped a milo and a-quarter ab bheir besb pace; bho colb is improving. The, Workman was an ab-1 sentee. Obakeho wenb a couple of rounds ab half-pace on the tan: Fishmonger gob through two strong rouuds on the course proper. Gay Deceiver ran once round by himself. Waberbury canbered three times by himself. Throe Sbar, Forme and Stepfeldt ran five furlongs ab aboub three parts speed. All moved well. Tullocb and Ingorina ran a mile and a quarter ac a good pace. Markinch did half pace work on the tan. Cheater covered a couple of rounds ab half speed. THE WORKMAN SCRATCHED. This morning Major George scratched The Workman for all engagements ab the meeting.
