YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.

(Before H. W. Northcroft, Esq., R.M.) Tiios. Longhukst v. R. B. Mason.—Claim 4 £1 10s 6d, for board and lodging.—Mr Madden appeared for defendant.—Judgment was given for the plaintiff with cosba 6s. P.. B. Mason v. Thos. Longhuest.—« Claim, £2. This was an action to recover expenses incurred, it was alleged, through the defendant refusing the plaintiff admittance to his lodgings for which he had paid, thereby causing a loss to the plaintiff of the sum of £2. — Mr Madden appeared for the plaintiff.—Judgment waa given for defendant with costs. GUEB AND LIPPIATT V. JOHN MAYIT.—• Claim £54 2s, amount of contract for erecting, a party wall in brick, as per agreement, on property in Grey-street.—Mr Burton appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Mahony for the defendant.—The plaintiffs contended that the work bad been fulfilled according bo contract. —The case was adjourned till Monday next, after a considerable amount of evidence hud been taken.
