BURGLARY AT HASTINGS.

Hastings, thi b day. A daring burglary was attempted last nighb ab Messrs Maddison and Co.''s store, Hastings. The thieves effected an entrance through a window at the back of tlbe store, and removed the safe to a convenient place in the buildiner, whero an unsuccessful attempb was made to burst ib open.
