The Government has cablod to the Agent-General, instructing him to join with the representatives of other colonies in a protest against tho removal of restrictions regarding the entry of foreign warships into colonial ports. Asiibdrton, this day. Rev, L. M, ißitt'B week's prohibition campaign closed last night wibh the largest crowd ever seen in one building here. It was a most enthusiastic meeting, and a resolution pledging the meeting to support a direct veto candidate was carried by an overwhelming majority.
