(Before His Honor Mr Justic Conolly.) A Will Case.—flis Honor gave judgment in the argument which took place at the Banco sitting last Wednesday as to the construction of the will of Matthew John Goodson, farmer, lato of Hawera. The trustees John Hislop and Clias. Goodson had been applied to for payment of £2,000 each, and share of tho residue, to Bertha Goodson and Ada Mary Goodson, unmarried daughters of tho testator and legatoes under tho will, and they asked His Honor whether the legacies and share of residue were payable on the legatees attaining tho ago of 21 years, and whether the petitioners ure bound as trustees to retain the legacies and residue, paying only the income derivable from the bequests.—His Honors judgment was a lengthy one, and he belo. that tho Misses Goodson are entitled to receive their respective legacies of £2,000, and also their shares of the residue upon their attaining the age ot 21 years.—Mr & Heskoth appeared for the trustees, and Mr Thos. Heskebh for respondent said that he had received intimation from the other side that the appeal would be withdrawn.
