(BY TELEGKAriI. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

Wellington, this day. At a meeting of the Wellington Meat Export Company yesterday it was moved that the following gentlemen be elected directors :—Messrs W. C. Buchanan, M.H.R., C. B. Izard, C. Pharazyn, W. G. Foster, and J. W. Marshall. TheHoa. G. McLean thought the directors would either have tc buy sheep or shut up. Mr C. Pharazyu said that spoaking for himself, and also fof the Chairman, they had really losb by purchasing stock and soiling to the Company. He had sold his freezers for the next five years, and therefore he had no interest in buying or selling sheep. He, personally, would like to be relieved of the labour of being a director of the Company, but thought as tho directors (nob by their own fault) had got the Company into difficulty they should endeavour to geo them out oi it. Mr W. G. Foster assured the Company that the Loan and Mercantile Company had never made a half-penny by any purchaeet of stock ho had made on behalf of the Meal Company. After further discussion tht motion for tho election of directors wat agreed to, and tho meeting adjourned.
