Wellington, this day.

On Saturday afternoon a young married woman named Nellie Brocker, aged 25, wife of John Brocker, posb office letter carrier, residing in Revan-street, Newtown, committed euicide by hanging herself to a beam under the house, which stands on high piles. She left a letter addressed to her husband, declaring her love for him and their child, but said the attitude of his people towards her rendered her life unhappy and she had determined to die.
