SUPREME COURT.

THIS DA1 T. (Before His Honor Mr Justice Conolly.) A snTiNG of the Supreme Court (in Chambers) was held this morning. Probate was granted to the executors under the -will of Abigail Ridinps Sadleir. Kenke Fredk. Luke and Edmund Percy Brett. Mr Buddie appeared in support of a motion that the sureties be dispensed with in the estate of Margaret Smith (deceased). His Honor made an order of one eurety to the extent of £1,600. Mr Campbell appeared in support of a motion to discharge George Gange Hull from office of executor under the will of Edward Constable (deceased). The application was made under the Administration Act of 18S5. His Honor made the order la the matter of the Eating Act, 1882, and of tho western portion of allotment 104, Parish of Omaru. Summons to show cause why the proceeds of the sale of tho said allotraenb paid to Public Trustee should not bo paid to George Howard Layers, the person entitled tharoto. Mr Clayton appoared in support of the motion, and asked an order be made that the proceeds be paid to Mr S. Hesketh, solicitor, or U. H. Laverß. His Honor made the order. ■ Mr T. Cotter asked His Honor for directions as to administration in the estate of Adelberb Wenzlick (doceased), formerly farmor at Puhoi, and whose widow was in the Asylum. He asked His Honor for directions, in the matter to save expease, as the estate was a small one. There were five children to be provided for, and the case was a difficult one, there being no will. Mr Cotter quoted an authority of the year 1750 bearing on the matter. —His Honor said that Mr Cotter could apply for administration to the Court as laid down in the authority, and reminded counsel thab it would be understood that he did not ask the matter in Chamber, but in his (the Judge's) private room.
