Wheat): For good lineß of Tuscan and velvet there is a good demand. Medium quality is not easily placed ; prime quality is saleable at 2s 9d to 3s; medium, 2s 4d to 2s Bd. Fowls wheat, good whole grain, 2a 3d to 2s 4d ; medium, Is lid to 2s Id ; barley, Chevalier, 3s 9d to 4s 3d ; Cape, 2s 9d to 3s. For malting qualities, oats have been in very good inquiry, and are easily placed off trucks. We quote : — Good milling, Is lOd ; extra bright and plump, Is IOJd ; prime ahorb feed, Is 9d to 1b lOd ; long Tartarian for seed, brighb, Is lid to 2s. Potatoes : Good Derwents, 60s to 62s 6d (wanted, supplies short during vveok). Chaff has a demand; prime, 45s to 47s 6d ; 50s for extra good quality ; good, 40s to 42s 6d. Grass seed: Rye grass, 2s tn 2s Gd; machined .up to 3s 3d ; old pasture, 3s 9d ; cocksfoot, 2kl to 4d.
