Wednesday. Some averages of fab steers were: £10 10s 4d, £9 14s lOd, £9 3s, £8 3s 4d, £7 13s 9d, £7 11s 3d, £6 19s 8d ; cows, £6 2s 6d, £5 16s 6d, £5 7s 6d, £5 2s 6d. Sheep: Wethers sold at from 12s 9d to 17s 6d each; ewes, 9s to 153; lambs, 5s to 12s 6d. Pigs were more plentiful, bub of small size. Suckers sold from 7s 6d to 11s; weaners, 14a to 19s; porkers, £2 each.
