THAMES DRAINAGE BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Tha.meEi Drainage Board was held this morning. Al!| of the members of the Board were present,.; MrG S. Kisaling being in tho chair. An offer of £20 from the Moy Queei i Company towards temporary drainage) below the 40ft level was accepted. The financial statement showed thai tho receipts for the month (including balance j ot £458 14s Id from last month) amounted Jo £985 la 8d and the expenditure £245 14s Hd. The liabilities wens £388 9s 2d and the assets £843 16s 2d. it was dpcided to allow a rebate ot 15 pw jenfi off the June contribution to all coniribufcors whose contributions are paid up -v full before the 30"bh inst. The necessity if filling in round the Piako ehafb to preyenb tho surface water going down the jhaft, was left in the hands of the Tiuunw members, with power to act.
