ASHORE NEAR HAW ERA.
IN A DANGEROUS POSITION.
(BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Haweba, this day. The schooner Annie Wilson, bound to Kai para from Canterbury, ran ashore on the south side of the Oeo River, about two o docketing mornn;. She is ha lod with produce and general cargo. She is standing upright at present, but the place is very rocky all round her, and if the wind or sea ehould rise, she mnst become a total wreck. The crew have run out anchors with a view to kodge her off at high water, but success is considered improbable. [The Annie Wilson is a wooden vessel of 150 tons register. She was built) by Barbour at Aratapu in 1879, and subsequently competed in several races at the Auckland annual regatta. She i 3 owned by John Dennin of Lyttelton.]
