(BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, this day. A full Cabinot meeting will be held early next week to consider proposals made by the Midland Hailway Company. At a meeting of the H utt County Council, the opinion wjw «>|,rcH.-ed tbut this body, and others similarly circumstanced, would soon bo forced into striking a special rate for charitable aid. The Council's present contribution for that purpose is at the rate of £800 per year, which is said to be more than can be spared. Alterations are to be made in the seating accommodation in the Legislative Council Lbamber, and the seats are'to be arranged in the same manner as thoso in the Lower House. Dunedin, this day. All the Supreme Court business has been adjourned till next sitting.
