The "Economist," discussing the Victorian Budget, asserts that Sir Graham Berry's increased duties, enhancing the cost of living, combined with a reduction of Governmenb works, will probably prolong bhe depression in the colony, and ib fears that a year hence the Budget estimates will be a good deal falsified by facte.
