SEARCH FOR SOUTHWOOD'S BODY.

New Plymouth, this day. The weather is very wet, and the mountain covered with cloude, so it is not expected the party will get further than the tourist house, and will not make the as* cent to-day to get Southwood's body.
Mr C. Smith, of Wellington, wired by last night's express, and has identified sevoral articles found on the body. Smith when in England obtained the number of his nephew's watch and its maker's name. Some of the works are in perfect order, although the watch has been exposed for ten months.
Amongst other things found on the deceased were 10 one pound notes, a sovereign, four half-sovereigns, half-a-crown, a farthing and a quarter. anna, a railway time table and a railway return ticket to Falraerston North.
