William Hatelet v. Jas. Kean. —Claim £40, balance due on the eale of the racehorse Catling.—Mr A. E. Whitakor appeared for the defendant. There was no appearance of the plaintiff, who lives at Wanganui.—The case was struck out, His Worship allowing £3 10s costs. James Coghlan v. Edward- Turnee.— This was a claim to recover £7, amount of a dishonoured cheque drawn by the defendant and made payable to Mr J. Foster.— Mr Calder appeared for tho plaintiff, and Mr J. Blades for the defendant.—Judgment was given for plaintiff, with costs £1 12s. John Tenpenny v. Wμ. Young.—Claim, £1 10s, ono week' 3 wages, in lieu of notice, and 7- '"■' train faro.—Mr Mahony appearc .«u plaintiff, and Mr Johnston for tho doiendant.—Judgment was given for defendant, with coste 10s.
