William Hatelet v. Jas. Kean. —Claim £40, balance due on the eale of the racehorse Catling.—Mr A. E. Whitakor appeared for the defendant. There was no appearance of the plaintiff, who lives at Wanganui.—The case was struck out, His Worship allowing £3 10s costs. James Coghlan v. Edward- Turnee.— This was a claim to recover £7, amount of a dishonoured cheque drawn by the defendant and made payable to Mr J. Foster.— Mr Calder appeared for tho plaintiff, and Mr J.
