Nominations for the Onehunga Summer Meeting close with Mr Mark on Thursday nighfe.
The stallion Maxim was brought up from Christchurch to-day. He is to be shipped to San Francisco.
At bhe Drury races yesterday, Stamford won the Cup and Flying Stakes, Bryan O'Lynn got home first in the Hurdles, and Priscilla won the Racing Club Handicap. Jessica appropriated the Maiden Plate. British Lion was - scratched for the Handicap at noon to-day. Mr D. O'Brien came up from Christchurch by the s.s. Wairarapa this morning. Mr H. M. Lyon, secretary of the Wellington Racing Club, announces that nominations for the Summer Meeting close on Tuesday, sth January, at 9 p.m.
