Dargaville, this day. The second day's races of the Northern Wairoa Racine Club took place yesterday. There was a fair attendance. The following wore the results :— Handicap Hurdles. Myrbiform . ... ... ... 1 Awaroa ... ... 2 . Won easily. These were the only starters. There were 28 on the tobalisator, and 21 on the winner. Dividend, 11s. Kaipara Handicap. Papakura, Bsb 121b . , 1 Bravo, Bsb ... 2 ' Deceiver, Bsfc 101b 3 Won by four lengths. There were 208 on the totalisator, and 152 on the winner. Dividend, 13s. A protest againsb Papakura for not giving performances on the nomination was dieallowed, and appeal is being made to Auckland. Novel Race. Major .. .' ... 1 Dacter ... 2 Nettie 3 Won by three lengths. Publicans'. Purse. Myrtiform, 7stslb 1 First Love, Bsb 121b . ... ~. 2 E. and Una, 7at 121b 3 Won by a length. There were 28 on the fcotalieator, and 5 on the winner. Dividend, 495. A deal of dissatisfaction wae expressed with First Love's riding, and a protest was entered. The jockey, Lindsay, was called before the stewards to explain hie conduct. Hack Race. Pakeha ... .„ 1 No Name ... 2 Nettie ... ... ... ... 3 . Won eaeily. There were 129 on the totalisator, and 75 on the winner. Dividend, 14s. Flying Stakes. Papakura, 9at 121b 1 Johnny, Bsb 121b 2 Holly, 95t... 3 Won easily. There were 174 on the tobalieator and 114 on the winner. Dividend, 13s.
