PROFESSOR CARROLLO'S PICNIC.
The annual picnic and sports held at Home Bay, Motutapu, on Saturday by Professor Carrollo, in connection with his athletic classes, proved very enjoyable. A large number of visitors voyaged down to Motutapu by ferry steamer, there being over '600 persons present. The races resulted as follows: —2ooyds Handicap (14 to 17 years): C. Schmitt, Byds, 1; J.
