ARRIVAL OF THE DORIC.
DEPARTURE OF THE TAINUI.
Wellington, October 18.— The Doric ar' rived from London at 9.30 this morning after an uneventful passage. She brought 119 passengers for New Zealand, wholeave for the various ports by steamers departing to-morrow. The Doric's mail is a very light one. Her passengers for Auckland are :—Saloon, Mr Rudyard Kipling ; second saloon, Mrs Tennyson Cole and Mr W. S. Laurie ; steerage, Misses A. Ayckbourne and B. Kedhane, Mr and Mrs Moore and family (4), Mr and Mrs Moses Be3t, Messrs T. Donnelly and Elias Sorensen. Wellington, October 17. — Sailed : R.M.s. Tainui, for London via Rio, Teneriffe, and Plymouth. She takes full cargo and the rollowing passengers : — Saloon : Mrs Gibson, Messrs Shannon (2), and Holmea. Second saloon : Miss Hart, Mesdames Cottrell and two children, Daley, J. Neale, Messrs Sympson, Lorking, Gale, Walsh, Clayton, Laurie. Steerage : Mr and Mr 3 Heeketh and two children, Messrs Stokes, Wat9on, Russell, Stafford, Bjrmarck, McArthur, Melburn, Danagh, O'Sullivan.
