IMPORTS.
Per Wainui, from S.S. Islands :—33 packages hides and skins, 55 sacks nuts, 3,283 sacks susrar, 743 bunches bananas, 15 cases limes, 2,500 cases oranges, 24 sacks copra, 104 casks whale oil, 40 packages sundries, and 2,250 packages cargo for South and Sydney. Per Ohau, from South :—1,339 sacks wheat, 160 sacks oatmeal, 427 sacks oats, 1,672 sacks, 640 half-sacks, 1,280 quarterBacks flour, 217 sacks potatoes, 100 sacks bran, 40 bags logwood, 135 cases jams, 50 coils rope, 200 boxes candles, 127 empty jars, 18 pieces stone, and sundries. The s.s. Bayley left the Bluff thia morning for London. The s.s. Argyle was docked this morning for cleaning and overhaul. The 3.8. Jubilee arrived ab Wellington this morning, from Sydney. The barque Othello is ready to sail hence for the Bluff again, in ballast. The barque B. Webster has nearly finished loading for New York. The s.s. Kahu arrived at Lybtelton this morning, from the Chatham Islands. The schooner Waiapu is loaded for Gisborne and way ports with timber and sundries. The left for her first trip to the Thames to-day aftsr her refitting. The ship Waitangi has discharged a good portion of her cargo at the Quay-street jetty. The barque Star of th© Eaefa, from New York, left Dunedin to-day for Auckland via Lyttelton. The schooner Olive, Capb. Ross, left Nukualofa (Tonga) on the 6th inst. for Auckland. The s.s. Manapouri shipped some eugar yesterday afternoon at the Chelsea Sugar Works for the South. The s.s. Poherua was to leave Laucala Bay (Fiji) on .the 9bh insfc. for Auckland with a cargo of sugar. Several Island vessels are now about due here, including the s.B. Richmond, schooner Torea (from Rarotonga), and schooner Olive (from Tonga). The locally-owned three-masted schooner Yolande is now on her way acrosa here from with coals after a long absence from port. Since she was last here two years ago she has voyaged to Shanghai from the Kaipara, thence to Pugeb Sound and back to Melbourne. Lately she has been running piles between Melbourne and the Clarence River (N.S. W.).
