SELLS BROS.' CIRCUS.

A COLOSSAL SHOW

Amongst the passengers who passed through here to-day by tho R.M.s. Mariposa, from San Francisco, en route to Sydney, were Mr Peter Sells and Mr Charles Stow, the advance managers of the big circus and United Show which is to visit the colonies from America very shortly, Sells Bros. Circus. The show will be, we understand, on quitea colossalscaiecompared with previous circuses and menageries which have visited New Zealand. Tho menagerie will comprise a great many wild animals, including two full-grown hippopotomi, to bo the first ever exhibited in tho colonies, several elephants, bears, and other animals. The circus company accompanying tho show will be an especially good one, and will be the first to do everything represented in the bills and posters. The circus will arrive hero next month by the R.M.s. Monowai, from 'Frisco, a very large amount of cargo space having been engaged in thab steamer. Tho show will tirst open in Sydney, and the whole colonial season will last six months, the circus showing last in Auckland, and returning by the Monowai. Mr Stow, advance agent, was formerly with the late P. T. Earnum in England in tho same capacity.
