A sale of freehold property took place today at Mr R. Arthur's auction mart, when the following lots were disposed of : — Lob 1, lease for 15 years of two doublestorey houses and section in Newton Road. Annual rental, £6 10s. The price realised was £60, Mr Walter Proberb being purchaser.

Lot 2, Carlton Gore Road and Manukau Road, Newmarket, known as Turner's Allotment. A fine building site. Price, €100; MrD. Kant buyer. Lob 3, two small cottages and allotments, corner of Devon-street, and Newton Road, sold to W. A. Probert for £100.

Two cottages and allotment 33 x 99, Summer-street, Eden Terrace, sold to Mr XV. Monaghan for £60.
