H'astinus, this day. To-day is tho first day of the Agricultural and Pasboral Show. There 13 a lacier and more abtractivo show of sheep than in any previous year, the specialty being a number of pens containing from five to twenty sheep for which special prizes are offered. There aro lars?e numbers of visitors from Australia, and from various parts of the colony. They express pleasure and surprise at the magnificent verdure of the country and the grand quality of the sheop.
