LORD SALISBURY'S VIEWS.
London, April 22.
In addressing the annual meeting of the Primrose League to-day, the Marquis of Salisbury said that prosperity and tranquility were resulting from a resolute Government in Ireland, and he condemned the practice of the hierarchy in Ireland in attempting to secure political control in that country.
