THE S.S. TAUPO.

A full cargo of Fijian produce, comprising raw sugar, bananas, cocoanuts, pines, etc., was brought into port this morning by the Union S.s. Company's steamer- Taupo, 766 tons, Captain A. Cameron, which arrived from Fiji ab 6 a.m. to-day. Of the steamer's round trip, Mr Armstrong, purser, reports : —"We lefb Auckland ab 5 p.m; on the 29th ulb., called ab Russell, and arrived ab Suva ab 7.30 p.m. on bhe 4th inst. We discharged cargo, lefb at 11 p.m. on the 6th, and arrived at Levuka at 6 a.m. on the 7th. We lefb again ab 0.38 p.m. on bhe 7bh, and rail up to Suva in tho smart time of 4hrs 32min. On the Sth, we proceeded to Navua and loaded a quantity of raw sugar, and completed cargo next day with bananas, etc., leaving Suva at o p.m. on the 9th for Auckland. We cleared Kadayu ab la.m. on the 10th, and sighted Poor Knights at 3 p.m. on the 14th. From New Zealand to Fiji we had strong easterly gales and heavy seat, the engines being slowed several times forthe protection of the live stock. On the return journey we had moderabe easberly winds and fine weather, until nearing the New Zealand coasb, where fresh S.W. winds and dull cloudy weabher were encountered and continued until arrival."
