IN A HURRICANE.
The i-Eolus, German barque, from New Ireland with a cargo of copra for Hamburg, put into Brisbane on the 18th ult., having Bplib her rudder in a hurricane on March 4bh, in lat. ly S, long. 161 E. ; several iraJla were blown away at this time and h*sr decks swopb clear : she was also strained hnavily.. A survey was held after arrival, and it ■oras found that the rudder was badly damaged, the bowsprit shifted, and considerable damage done to gear, etc.
