The poll at the Harbour Board offices fa the election of three members by the shipping interests closed ab 6 p.m. yesberday, and aboub seven o'clock bhe result was declared by Mr Prime, Returning Officer, to be as follows :—Henderson, 211 ; Houghton, 143; Alison, 139; Groom, 122 ; Gunson, 97; Bell, 92.
