MR THOMPSON'S ATTACK ON THE LATE MR SPERREY.

There was a warm minute or two in the House yesterday afternoon, when Mr 11. Thompson of Marsdon reuse to move that a, copy of the letter of Sir Harry Atkinson to fcir Gilbert Hair in defence of the late Mr Sperrey, should be laid on the tabled? the House. Mr Thompson characterised Sir Harry's action ill writing as cowardly and unmanly, but was pulled up by the Speaker.nnd he said the late Premier would never have made an attack on him (Mr Thompson), but thab he knew he would not, again appeal- in the House and would not have to answer for it.
