CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.
(by telegraph.—press association.) Wellington, this day. f A seaman named Nairnby, who was hurt on the steamer Huia, sited the owners for damages. The R.M. dismissed the case, bub, on appeal, Judge Edwards allowed it, and ordered the R.M. to assess the damages. He reserved bhe point raised by. counsel as to whether bhe case should nob "be reheard.
