A HAIRBREADTH ESCAPE.
h COACH NEARLY HURLED FROM KINGSTON BRIDGE.
A cOAcrt accident, fortunately unattended by serious results, a broken pole and other in'urio.3 to tho vehicle excepted (says the Hobart " Mercury " of the 15th instant), befel Mr Fisher's Brown's River coach on Thursday afternoon. Crossing Kingston Bridge, the horse 3 were startled by some heaps of sand piled on the roadside, and the coach being thrown with groat force against the siding, nearly capsized. The driver (Fisher) was hurled from his seat, and throwing a complote somersault, landed in the adjoining paddock without jnjuvy. Lying on the ground he, with (comuiendablo presence of mind, still held ton to his reins, while the only passenger becupying a box seat, Mr Eisasser, representative of tho Warner's Safe Cure Co., pluckily stuck there, and placing his foot on the" brake, prevented further mischief. Inside the coach were two old people and b, young woman, who escaped with a knock.
