PRESCOTT DISASTER.
WICKENBERG TOWN SAFE
FORTY PERSONS" DROWNED,
Washington, February 25. A courier reports that the town of Wickenberg, reported as having been washed away by the bursting of a dam at Prescott, is safe, but forty persons have been drowned between the township and the dam.
. The Prescolt reservoir was sv/ollen by rain. It is probable the number of deaths will exceed 100.
The damage amounts to a million of dollars.
