WESTERN AUSTRALIA.
THE ENABLING BILL.
London, February 25. In the House of Commons Sir George Campbell has given notice of motion, " That this House is unwilling to sanction the Western Australian Enabling Bill until better informed as to the character of the territory of Western Australia, and until the Committee has submitted its report; also, that the House considers the measure for yielding control over Western Australian Affairs ought to originate in the Imperial Parliament." : The " Chronicle " says Sir G. Campbell's action with reference to the West- : ern Australian Bill is an insult to the colony.
