Sir, —In reference to a paragraph in your issue of 7bh inst. re bhe above race, wherein you sbate thab the St. George's Rowing Club intended seeking legal advice as to the awarding of the prize money, I beg to state that the Committee of the St. George's Rowing Club have nob the slightest inbention of committing such an unsportsmanlike action. The Sb. George's Rowing Club are naturally put out over their hard luck, for hard luck ib cerbainly was, as everyone will agree, bub ab the same bime bhoy are always ready bo abide by bhe decision of bhe officials ab a regatta.—l am, etc., Leslie Wilson, Captain St. George's Club.
