The ca«e of Charles Redwood, of the Blenheim Borough, £1,000 damages, was watched with much interest, and has just terminated in a nonsuit. The action was to iccover for damages sustained by the plaintiff's Jand through the neglect of defendants to keep open and clean the water course known as the Co-operative drain. The judge found the covenant did not embrace the land specified, and nonsuited the plaintiff. Two moro similar actions are pending.
