Yesterday the annual picnic of the Ancient Order of Foresters was held at Sb, Helier;s Bay, upwards of 1,800 persons proceeding to the trysbing-place by a ferry steamer. The whole of the arrangements were in the hands of Courb Victoria, Devonport, and Messrs Sibbin and Phillips acted as handicappers for the races, which took place during the afternoon, and were vory hotly contesbed, The holiday was a mosb enjoyable one, and all kinds of sports took place.
