CITY HALL CONCERTS.
The repetition of Friday night's programme in the City Hall on Saturday evening was as successful as ever, the "Japanese Troupe" causing universal amusement, while the pedestal clog dunce, by Mr J. Burke, the trapeze artists—SteliH and Leonard— and the song and dance on stilts by Max Itinkle, all received well-merited applause. Tho second runt of the programme con vis feed oi most amusing items, while the coinedtettH, "The Scotch Girl's Strategy," as played by Miss Georgia Smithson, was a. rare treat, her piquant acting as "Maggie McFarlane," and "Miss Thistledown" making the piece go with great verve. She was well supported by the whole company. On Saturday night next Mips Georgie Smithson's lease of the City Hall expires, upon which occasion a grand farewell bill will bo presented, introducing several new artists. These concerts have had an unprecedented run of 22 weeks, the attendance increasing nightly ; but prior engagements have caused the management to advertise the last night, and Saturday night next will be the last opportunity the public of Auckland will have of witnessing one of the largest programmes, as well as the cheapest ever scan here.
