Wakgakoi, Friday. ■ The Wanganui Jockey Club's Spring meet ing was held to-day. There Was a good at tendance. Results : —

Handicap Hurdle Race, of TOsovs (two miles and a distance). —Martin's Kangaroo (Pell), 1; (.'ermaino, 2. Fourteen horses ran. All got over the first hurdle safely, with the exception of Marylong, ,who fell and unyhipped its rider. Ab the back of tho course Le Clair and Oddfellow led tha field, but in -coming round into the straight the last time Kangaroo forged ahead, and got up to Oddfellow, who led him over tho last hurdlo on the outside, and crossed him just near the. post, winning jusfc .half-a-length ahoad of Kangaroo.
