The Star of the East I is an American barque bound from New York, via Port Chalmers, to this port. After landing her Port Chalmers cargo •Captain H. Squally weather, wind south. .On Thursday 11th, 6.50 p.m., East Cape I Vas W. half S. ten miles, winds I and turned into a sale; could not make any headway. On Sunday, October j 14tb, at 6 p.m., the Barrier was W. by S. ; lieht N.S. winds and calm. On October 16th wind S.W., and continued so until taken in tow by the steam tug.
