SHOCKING ACCIDENT TO A SEAMAN.

; - Thames, this day. Frederick Olin, a seaman on board the ketch Reliance, now at Turua, met with a serious accident yesterday afternoon. He fell from the main crosstrees into the hold, sustaining nasty wounds on the head and a fractured arm. The sufferer was put on board Mr Bagnall's steam launch and conveyed to Kppu ; from thence he was taken in a cab to the hospital. His injuries were very serious, as he has sustained concussion of the brain, and no hope is entertained of his recovery. Olin's skull is very badly fractured, and he has been insensible since the accident occurred. ■ ~
