NEWCASTLE MINERS STRIKE.
Newcastle, August 14. A fortnight's notice of a general st/rike has been given by the miners. There are forty-six foreign vessels in ?port awaiting cargoes of coal, but the miners have "intimated to the masters 'that they will only be able to coal 20 vessels 'before the time expires for ' their going out on strike.
