The rain has stopped, bufc owing to the heavy downpour last night, the ground will be fearfully, heavy. Otago are decided favourites in the betting. The following alterations have been made in the Native Team at the last moment: —Gage will play half-back in place of Arthur YVarbrick, who goes forward in place of Tb'are,who is unable to play. G. Wyny&rd takes Gage's place, threequarter back. As the Manapouri leaves on Wednesday, the second match will have to be played on Tuesday afternoon.
