BRIGANTINE ARATAPU DISABLED.
Sydney, this day. The Auckland brigantine Aratapu, bound from Tairua to Melbourne, with a cargo of timber, has put into Sydney in a disabled condition. She will, in all probability, have to be discharged and docked tor repairs. _, [Tho Aratapu, Captain Bower, is a wooden vessel of 122 tons.register. bhe was built at Aratapu in 1878, and is owned by the Union Sash and Door Company, bhe arrived in Auckland from Newcastle on May 21st last with a cargo of coal. On the passage across she experienced some heavy weather, and had her bowsprit carried away. She was repaired here, and having discharged, proceeded to Tairua on June 7th, where she loaded up with 110,000 feet of timber for Melbourne, sailing towards tho cud of the month.]
