The " North Otago Times " suggests that the direct, steamers might profittbly be filled with potatoes. Oamaru potatoes are
better than tiny grown at Home, and, if landed neither heated nor chilled, might be expected to fetch £5 a ton, which would j pay a good freight and a goQiJ profit.
