Mr Chas. Dacre has received a telegram from Mr Lillywhite, stating that the English footballers will play the Association Game against an Auckland Representative Team, provided the matter can be arranged to the satisfaction of the Auckland Rugby Union. The Rugby Union matches, in which the Englishmen play against the Auckland Representatives, are fixed for the 19th and 24th May, and it hae been suggested that the Association game could be arranged for the 21st inst., that being the most suitable date available.

• A combined football team from the Thames Club has decided to challenge the Auckland Reps to play a match. It is proposed to form a Football Union here.
